our painted pots are pre-made and then hand-painted individually with original designs.

Ceramic Planters vs. Painted Pots
what is the difference?
ceramic planters are carefully built through a complex multi-step process that results in high quality durable pieces. when the clay is fired at a high-temperature, the surface gains a glass-like finish, making it waterproof and protected against uv damage, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
on the other hand, our painted pots have a more craft-based process. these pieces are decorated with acrylic markers and coated with a sealant. they are resistant to water and uv light, but because they don't go through a high-temperature firing, they can present changes to their surface with time and use. in this case, we suggest to keep them indoors.
